Aboriginal Bush Food Tour - Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne

State of Library of Victoria

A visit to Melbourne Museum is a rich insight into life in Victoria. Inside you will find the Forest Gallery, home to tall trees and wondrous wildlife. Visit the Science and Life Gallery at the west end, where you’ll find bugs, dinosaurs, fossils and more. Learn at Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, a place imbued with the living traditions and knowledge of Koorie people and other cultures from around Australia. The museum is located adjacent to the World Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.


The National Gallery of Victoria

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is Australia’s oldest and most renowned public art museum, hosting blockbuster exhibitions and holding the most significant collection of art in the region. The NGV houses a whole world of international art and displays collections of European, Asian, Oceanic and American art. A truly iconic Melbourne building, the gallery has been totally redesigned to house one of the most impressive collections in the Southern Hemisphere.
