Aboriginal Bush Food Tour - Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne

Womin Djeka. Journey into the ancestral lands of the Kulin (Koolin) Nation on this 90-minute tour with an Aboriginal guide. Gain insight into the rich history and thriving culture of the local First Peoples and discover their connection to plants and their traditional uses for food, tools and medicine. This tour includes tastings of delicious canapes inspired by the native plants located in the gardens.

DINNER

State of Library of Victoria

The State Library has been developed to become one of most unique Melbourne’s events hub and is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Corinthian pillars and classic architecture adorn the eleven different event spaces. From the restored Ian Potter Queen’s Hall, originally built in 1865, perfect for grand gala dinners to the modern Conversation Quarter with built-in Audio Visual equipment, ideal for large corporate conferences. The State Library Victoria enjoys prime location, a rich history and flexible and unique spaces to cater for any group. Immerse yourself in the history of Australia’s oldest and largest Library. DAY 2

MORNING

Tour Melbourne Museum

A visit to Melbourne Museum is a rich insight into life in Victoria. Inside you will find the Forest Gallery, home to tall trees and wondrous wildlife. Visit the Science and Life Gallery at the west end, where you’ll find bugs, dinosaurs, fossils and more. Learn at Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre, a place imbued with the living traditions and knowledge of Koorie people and other cultures from around Australia. The museum is located adjacent to the World Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens.

The National Gallery of Victoria

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is Australia’s oldest and most renowned public art museum, hosting blockbuster exhibitions and holding the most significant collection of art in the region. The NGV houses a whole world of international art and displays collections of European, Asian, Oceanic and American art. A truly iconic Melbourne building, the gallery has been totally redesigned to house one of the most impressive collections in the Southern Hemisphere. The Garden restaurant is available for exclusive use and overlooks the Grollo Equiset Garden and the impressive collection of sculptures. Private viewings of the NGV collection can be arranged to add to your event experience.

Arts Centre Melbourne

For more than 30 years, the Arts Centre Melbourne has been Melbourne’s leading venue for world-class theatre, dance, and music. Directly under the venue’s iconic Spire, are three separate theatres – the State Theatre, which boasts one of the world’s largest stages and hosts performances by Opera Australia and The Australian Ballet, the Playhouse and the intimate Fairfax Studio. Enjoy a tour and uncover the secrets of the theatres. Gain unique access to backstage rooms, hidden passageways, and technical contraptions. Trace the footsteps of famous performers, directors, and choreographers, and hear behind-the-scenes stories about some of the major productions that have graced the Art Centre.

DINNER

Welcome to Country dinner at the Forum Melbourne

A unique event venue with stunning architecture, a mesmerising proscenium and one of Melbourne’s most famous stages. The Forum Melbourne first opened in 1929 with the largest seating capacity of any theatre in Australia. Renowned as one of Melbourne’s most unique and best live music venues, the Forum plays host to many bands, singers, comedians, and popular festivals every year. When not being used for live music, the venue comes alive as an amazing function space for events such as cocktail parties, launches and fashion events.


DAY 3

MORNING

Melbourne’s Street Art Laneway Walk

Melbourne’s street art is internationally renowned and has become an attraction for visitors wanting to experience Melbourne’s creative ambience. Explore the city’s iconic art on one of Melbourne’s fun and educational street art tours with local guides who will reveal some of the city’s hidden treasures. Visit historic laneways and architecturally significant buildings to discover hidden galleries, street art by renowned artists, sculpture and modern art. This walking tour will guide groups to the best of Melbourne’s ever-changing art scene from showcasing high end galleries to discovering significant art on laneway walls and decorating prominent boulevards.
